Now it’s official. Lucia and Rebekah are full-time producers at MAKE, helping steer both our Originals slate and our commercial campaigns as we take on bigger ideas and busier seasons.

Every so often, you meet people who fit into a studio so naturally it feels like they were already here. That’s exactly how it happened with Lucia Naples and Rebekah Hartwig. They’ve been floating in MAKE’s orbit for a while, popping up in our initiatives, workshops, and eventually our intern trenches, proving they had the instincts of future producers long before their titles said so.

How Lucia Got Our Attention

Lucia first came to MAKE through the MAKE Thesis Grant, where her team's senior film ÜMIT received recognition in 2024. The project had ambition, emotional clarity, and the kind of production instinct that is hard to ignore. It was obvious she understood how to guide a story, support a team, and keep both heart and craft aligned.

Now Lucia is helping lead the production progression on Sunny Side Down, working closely with our directors and artists as the series expands, while also contributing to commercial work.

“I’m super grateful that every day I get to wake up and go to work in a studio with such insanely talented artists,” she shared. “It’s still wild to think that making cartoons and commercials is my actual job. Dreams really do come true.”

How Rebekah Proved Herself Fast

Rebekah made her mark during our Commercial Animation Workshop, a fast-paced sprint designed to simulate real production pressure. She stepped up immediately, guiding her 3D team with calm leadership and clear communication. It was obvious she could thrive here.

Since then, she has already supported client work including the long-running Hess Toy Truck campaign while also contributing to MAKE Originals.

“Thrilled to join this creative playground. And don’t worry, I’ll provide structure… like a responsible adult on a jungle gym,” she said.

From Interns to Full-Time Producers

Both Lucia and Rebekah joined MAKE as interns and stepped straight into real production challenges. They didn’t just keep up. They elevated the work through clear communication, problem-solving, and steady support for the artists around them.
