A two-semester collaboration between teams of 6 students and MAKE mentors to produce a 15 second character-based commercial spec spot.
MAKE specializes in the art of commercial storytelling through animation, visual effects, and motion graphics. We want to give back and help the student community by providing a hands-on experience creating character-based animated commercials and learning from mentors at MAKE.

This workshop is designed for junior, senior, and MFA students from schools across the U.S. pursuing majors such as animation, visual development, motion design, visual effects, and game art.

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
Based on the provided brief (written by MAKE), you will be creating an animated short story that features the product or service in an aspirational manner. The goal is to create something amazing with the focus on character, mood, and storytelling balanced with intelligent product portrayal. Here are some of the examples of the final product.
