Wait, don't leave, this one will grow on you. Just give it a chance. A bedroom blooms with amazing flowers and cool collectable characters in this verdant explosion of awesome that smells like real flowers.
Our favorite part of this project was, of course, the flowers. The goal was to elevate the magic moment of the blooming Bloss’ems by transforming the room around the two girls. The fun part here was coming up with flower designs that bring the awesome, the glitter and layered blooming animations. This helped make a great supporting stage for the awesome bloss’ems.
VISUAL DEVELOPMENT
The goal was to transform the entire space into a fantasy environment. A trendy girls bedroom became an enchanted wonderland full of exotic flowers and vines. The trick was to put a unique spin on the look and feel of flowers. We were inspired by unique craft materials like glitter, gold, textile cloth and string lights to create flowers that felt like fantasy scape.
A GLITTER THUMB
We wanted our flower backdrop to have a unique look that catches the eye but that doesn’t overpower the foreground. Each flower received a dusting of glitter that shimmers behind the main action. This garden is part flower, part dream fashion showroom.
THE BLOSSOM
These are flowers that make a fashion statement. Each of our flowers corresponded with a specific Awesome Bloss’em. Whether it was Fierce Floral or Posh Petal, the flower became a visual icon that expanded on each Bloss’ems theme. Layered blossom animations were made to be luscious, complex and bold.
