For Mediacom’s New Era WiFi, we envisioned a thrilling party where every space in the house is the hottest hot spot. We are experience driven creatures in need of LED lighting, virtual reality, gaming, streaming and near limitless speed and connectivity. Is fast internet extreme, or is it just your average and insatiable desire for speed.? Let’s treat ourselves to extreme internet.
THE MOOD
Gel Lighting makes everything look pretty sweet and adds atmosphere that makes our piece sizzle. We wanted the mood to feel like an experience at a club with high contrast colored lighting. The blue signal feels like decorative LED lighting as the strong signal blasts out the house.
CREATING A PARTY
A party can break out anywhere and you want your WiFi to be ready for that. We travel over the house and even the garage can become the hottest hotspot.
With mood lighting, atmospherics and energetic talent, every room in the house is hardwired for fun entertainment with friends—even when the parents aren’t around.
EXPERIENCE DRIVEN
We wanted the experience of Mediacom’s internet to be driven by the heart and the senses. When we play, we want to feel the speed of that race. When we listen to music, we want that thump in our chest.
DRAMATIC LIGHT
Gel lighting offered contrast and a club-like atmosphere that enhanced our view of everyone enjoying their internet experience. This light was made to convey a party and elevate Mediacom's brand colors to an experience saturated with dynamic party vibes.
EXTENDING THE SIGNAL: VFX INTEGRATION
We designed our boosted internet connectivity to look like streams of LED lights, which only added to the feeling and decor of a party. This added to the cool factor but it also conveyed the sense of a dynamic and living technology that spreads through the air and across every surface of the house.
